STC militias close main roads in Ataq city

SHABWA, July. 21 (YPA) – The militias the Southern Transitional Council (STC) backed by the UAE closed on Thursday all the entrances to the city of Ataq, the Shabwa provincial capital, southeast of Yemen.

According to local citizens, the so-called of Shabwa Defense Forces belonging to the STC’s militia established new military checkpoints in many areas of the city.

This came in light of the reports for the tension between the armed factions loyal to the UAE and the militias of the Special Forces affiliated with Saudi- funded Islah led by Abed Rabbo Lakab.
