Coalition troops commit 163 violations of UN-declared truce

SANAA, Jun. 06 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 163 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Sunday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 55 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Jawf, Hajjah, Dhalea, Saada, Bayda and border fronts.

The source affirmed that new combat fortifications were created in surround of Marib city.

In addition, the source declared that 90 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, Bayda and border fronts.

He also said that 17 violations by an artillery shelling were recorded at Marib, Hajjah, Saada and border fronts, while the mercenaries targeted the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi area of Marib.

The source mentioned that an artillery bombing targeted the army’s sites in Al-Matta’n, Al-Hamaqi, Al-Dahra, Jadob Al-Shabaka areas of Saada and in Hairan, Bani Hassan and Haradh areas of Hajjah.

The source pointed out that the mercenaries bombarded the army’s sites in Al-Batool, Al-Azhoor, Jabal Al-Amood and Wadi Jara areas of Jizan region and Jabal Al-Omdah and Al-Shabaka areas of Najran.
