Police make great security achievements in Saada

SAADA, June.05 (YPA) – Police has made the great security achievement in controlling over crimes in Saada province during the month of Shawwal last year, 1443 AH, recording 228 seized crimes.

A statistic issued by the province’s police stated that the most prominent crimes were 5 premeditated murders, 2 unintentional murders, 50 attempted murders, 38 willful light damages, 3 unintentional fire crimes, 31 threatening crimes, one harming public money, and 9 crimes of disturbing public tranquility, as well as 13 offenses of tampering with a firearm, 4 offenses of swearing and insults, the offense of looting private property by force, and 30 various other offenses.

The statistic added that dozens of crimes were seized such as theft of homes and shops, cars, motorbikes, in addition to robbery of people, crimes of breach of trust, and fraud.

In the field of drug control, the statistic indicated that the governorate police seized, during the past month, a quantity of 2 tons and 203 kilograms of external narcotic hashish, 30,000 assorted narcotic pills, and 10 wine bottles.
