President Al-Mashat stresses importance to doubling efforts to improve telecommunications sector

SANAA, June.05 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, affirmed sressed the impornce of doubling efforts to improve the performance level of the telecommunications sector and Internet services and keep pace with global developments.

This came during his meeting on Sunday with the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Misfer Al-Numeir.

Al-Mashat urged intensifying efforts and raising the level of achievement in accordance with its executive plans and programs in a way that contributes to promoting the country’s comprehensive development.

For his part, Minister of Telecommunications reviewed several projects being implemented during the last period in the telecommunications sector, as well as the future moves of the sector under the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to take care of citizens and provide services.
