Cold weather expected with rainfall in coming 24 hours

SANAA, Jan. 04 (YPA) – Cold weather would be expected on Tuesday, with rainfall, in most Yemen provinces within the coming 24 hours, according to the National Center for Meteorology.

The center stated, in its air bulletin, that fog would form on the western mountainous heights of the provinces of Sanaa, Dhamar, Hajjah, Mahweet, Raymah, Saada, Amran, Ibb, Lahj, and Dhalea.

Moreover, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain in the provinces of Sanaa, Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Ibb and Taiz, as well as the parts of the western, southern and eastern coasts and the adjacent areas.

The center warned on citizens, especially the elderly and children, against the cold weather, calling on motorists to drive carefully on mountain roads due to the low range of horizontal visibility and the formation of fog.
