Scattered showers forecast across several areas of Yemen

SANAA, Aug. 15 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast further scattered showers across several provinces of Yemen.

According to the center’s weather bulletin on Friday, the rains may be expected to fall on parts of the provinces of Saada, Amran, Mahweet, Ibb, Taiz, Rayma, Dhamar, Hajjah, Dhalea, Bayda, and Sanaa.

Additionally, Scattered rains, are also forecast to prevail over parts of the highlands of the governorates of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Mahra, Marib, and Jawf, as well as parts of the southern and eastern coasts.

The center warned citizens of thunderstorms, avoiding crossing or staying in floodwaters during and after rainfall, rock and mudslides, and poor visibility due to rainfall and the formation of low clouds.
