Child raped in Lahj, citizens protest security negligence

LAHJ, Sept. 9 (YPA) – Citizens in the occupied southern province of Lahj on Monday protested the deliberate negligence of the security services in a case of a 10-year-old child rape.

Citizens pointed out that three perpetrators of the rape crime are known to the security services, and two of them were arrested with the cooperation of the citizens themselves, while the third is still on the run and was not arrested by security officials in the province, especially as he is in the protection of a social figure loyal to the UAE.

The child’s family and neighbors and activists held the security services in Lahj responsible for the failure to arrest the third perpetrator.
