SANAA, April 5 (YPA) – The anti-tank units of the Yemeni Army on Friday announced the latest statistics of operations carried out during March.
Sources in the anti-tank units said they had carried out 154 attacks targeting the coalition’s forces and groups in various combat fronts.
The sources explained anti-tank units were able to destroy and damage 20 military vehicles loaded with personnel, 12 armoured vehicles, 5 military bulldozers, 3 tanks, 2 BMP vehicles and 17 high-caliber machine guns on various fronts during March.
Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree has disclosed the number of operations carried out by the engineering unit, which reached 223 during March, destroying 11 armoured vehicles, one tank and 116 military vehicles, most of which were earmarked for transporting soldiers, in addition to targeting groups of militants with 87 operations.
