TAIZ, Jan. 8 (YPA) – A huge explosion on late Monday rocked Taiz city, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition militia, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources said that the blast took place in Hawd Al’ashraf district in the southwestern province of Taiz.
According to local sources, preliminary information indicated that the blast was caused by a bomb thrown by Unknown gunmen on the headquarters of Hawd Al’ashraf police station.
The attackers fled the scene, no casualties were reported, one of the sources said.
The City of Taiz is witnessing insecurity as a result of the deployment of the coalition militia affiliated to the Islah party and the Salafist leader Abu al-Abbas, which is funded by the UAE.
