UKMTO receives report of incident 75NM east of Aden

ADEN, Sept. 17 (YPA) –The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has received a report of an incident 75NM east of Aden, Yemen.

According to UKMTO, a tanker travelling westbound has reported that a skiff has pursued and attempted to intercept the vessel.

The agency said the incident was under investigation by relevant authorities.

Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO, the agency added.
