Israeli strikes kill 19 Palestinians as Gaza ceasefire violations continue

GAZA, Aug. 03 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched over 10 airstrikes across the Gaza Strip throughout Sunday, killing at least 19 Palestinians, injuring dozens more, and destroying three residential homes, according to Palestinian media sources.

The attacks mark a continuation of ongoing ceasefire violations.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli forces launched artillery shelling, dropped illumination flares, and operated low-flying drones across areas east and west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Military vehicles also opened heavy fire on displacement camps and residential neighborhoods northeast of the Al-Bureij refugee camp, southeast of Deir al-Balah, and east of Gaza City.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, ongoing ceasefire violations have killed more than 1,100 people and injured hundreds more across the Gaza Strip since the agreement took effect.
