WASHINGTON, July 30 (YPA) – For the second consecutive day, pro-Palestinian demonstrations were held in Washington, D.C., outside the hotel where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was staying, protesting his visit.
Protesters chanted slogans calling for Netanyahu’s arrest and holding him responsible for the genocide in the Gaza Strip. Several demonstrators also attempted to enter the hotel lobby, while security forces were deployed around the area.
Participants waved Palestinian flags and carried signs demanding an end to US support for Israel. They chanted, “You can’t hide” and “Arrest Netanyahu,” as his visit to Washington and meetings with US officials continued.
