ADEN, Oct. 31 (YPA) – Angry protests broke out in the occupied city of Aden on Friday and Saturday, denouncing the presence of Saudi military headquarters and bases in densely populated residential neighborhoods.
The spontaneous protests came after targeted strikes and powerful explosions rocked Saudi military headquarters and weapons depots at Maashiq Palace and nearby, causing widespread panic among residents.
Protesters strongly condemned the failure of the Saudi forces and government to provide air defense systems to protect civilians.
They said the Saudi forces’ use of residential buildings as human shields and their establishment of military barracks near homes put residents’ lives and property at greater risk, leaving their neighborhoods vulnerable to repeated military attacks.
