Sanaa declares support for Iraq following Saudi attack

SANAA, July 29 (YPA) – The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa stated on Wednesday that the Saudi regime has launched an attack on Iraqi territory, describing it as a new aggression and a flagrant violation of international law.

In an official statement, the ministry said, “The Saudi regime believes that through its agency for the Zionists, it will escape punishment for its crimes across the region.”

The ministry characterized the act as a “heinous crime” and a new testament to the “arrogance” of the regime.

The statement affirmed that the Republic of Iraq, its “mujahid resistance,” and its Muslim people possess the legitimate right to respond to this crime, noting that all international norms, laws, and charters grant Iraq this right.

“We in the Republic of Yemen stand alongside Iraq in taking any legitimate measures in response to this crime,” the Foreign Ministry concluded.
