Sana’a Foreign Ministry welcomes BRICS position calling for peaceful resolution of conflicts

SANAA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Sana’a government welcomed on Saturday the statement issued at the conclusion of the 18th BRICS Summit held in New Delhi, regarding the adoption of a peaceful resolution to international conflicts.

An official source at the Foreign Ministry explained that Yemen is following the summit with interest and supports the statement that a peaceful solution is achieved through dialogue, consultation, and diplomacy.

He pointed out that this position is consistent with Sana’a’s calls for achieving peace and ending the war and the blockade imposed on Yemen.

The source reiterated Yemen’s readiness to discuss all issues of common interest with the BRICS countries.
