Sanaa forces release initial footage of large-scale western coast operation

SANAA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces on Saturday released initial footage from the large-scale military operation carried out along several simultaneous axes on September 12, 2026, which ended with Sanaa forces taking control of an area covering 5,400 square kilometers along Yemen’s western coast.

The footage showed Sanaa forces storming positions and military camps held by Saudi-backed militants, as well as destroying military vehicles and inflicting large numbers of casualties, with militants reportedly killed, wounded or captured across several fronts.
