Israeli occupation confiscates irrigation, solar energy equipment in northern Jordan Valley

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, June 24 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces confiscated on Wednesday solar panels, water pumps, and irrigation equipment after storming Khirbet al-Deir in the northern Jordan Valley, eastern West Bank.

Local farmers rely heavily on these alternative systems due to restrictions imposed on digging wells and accessing the electricity grid.

This confiscation, which the occupation authorities justify under the pretext of converting the territories into closed military zones, coincides with an escalation in daily Zionist settler attacks aimed at seizing land and restricting the Palestinian presence in the area.

According to Palestinian data, the occupation forces and settlers carried out 1,659 attacks across various areas of the West Bank during the past month of May.
