Palestinian Media Forum: OCHA data refutes Israeli narrative on aid entry into Gaza

GAZA, Sept. 24 (YPA) – The Palestinian Media Forum on Thursday called on media outlets to be accurate when reporting on aid entering Gaza and to compare Israeli statements with UN figures.

It emphasized that OCHA data refutes Israel’s claim of 600 trucks entering daily since the October ceasefire, and proves the continuation of restrictions, rejections, and returns of shipments, and the decline in the unloading of UN trucks through Karem Abu Salem to 70% after it was 77%.

It pointed to the worsening crisis through the Egyptian route with a decrease in unloading to 35% with an increase in rejections, and that 33% of commercial trucks (290) out of 884 between September 7-13 carried non-essential materials, according to the Gaza Chamber of Commerce, stressing that the true criterion is what actually enters in terms of food, medicine, and shelter.
