Two US soldiers killed during Morocco military exercises

RABAT, May 03 (YPA) – The United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) confirmed that two of its personnel were killed during large-scale multinational military exercises held in southern Morocco, which involved participation from 41 countries.

In an official statement, the AFRICOM said search and rescue teams have been conducting operations since Saturday morning to locate the missing soldiers, without providing details on their identities or the circumstances of their disappearance.

The statement indicated that the last known location of the personnel was near the Cap Draa training area in the Tan-Tan region, a site frequently used for major multinational military drills.
