Two activists protest against Israel’s participation in London tourism fair

LONDON, Nov. 03 (YPA) – Two pro-Palestinian activists protested Israel’s participation at the World Travel Market in London on Tuesday by surrounding its pavilion with tape reading ‘Crime Scene, No Entry’ and holding up a banner that read ‘Every settlement is a war crime’.

The protester inside the Israeli pavilion said: “Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza for three years, and yet today it is promoting tourism in our capital on stolen Palestinian land.”

The protester added: “Israel must bear the consequences of genocide. Everyone here should be ashamed. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been killed, and they deserve human rights.”

Security personnel forcibly removed the activists from the exhibition hall, while a pro-Palestine protest was held outside the exhibition center, with participants chanting slogans demanding an end to British support for the occupation.
