Trump announces halt to US military aid to Israeli occupation

WASHINGTON, Nov. 03 (YPA) – US President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday an agreement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to halt approximately $4 billion in annual US military aid to Israel by the end of this year.

During an interview with Fox News, Trump stated that the agreement was reached several months ago, indicating that Israel no longer needs this financial assistance.

He added that the United States will cease providing annual military funding to Israel but will continue to provide assistance if needed.

He noted that aid to Israel has become a subject used by some American political factions, particularly Democrats and left-wing groups, to criticize Republicans, amidst growing debates within the United States regarding the future of military support for Israel.
