Iran destroys rare US radar aircraft in Saudi Arabia

WASHINTON, March 29 (YPA) – The American Wall Street Journal reported that Washington was subjected to a severe military blow following the destruction of a rare American radar plane, as a result of a precise Iranian operation that targeted a military base deep inside Saudi Arabia.

The newspaper pointed out that the targeted aircraft is considered a valuable military asset in the US Air Force, stressing that the success of the operation in breaching protection levels represents a huge technical and operational loss.

For their part, military experts considered that the damage to this type of aircraft represents an announcement of the end of the era of absolute American air superiority, and reveals Washington’s inability to protect its most advanced aircraft in the region.
