Sudan’s UN envoy accuses UAE of military support for RSF before General Assembly

NEW YORK, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Sudan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Al-Harith Idriss, accused the United Arab Emirates (UAE) of providing military and logistical support to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

This came during an address before the UN General Assembly, in which Idriss emphasized Khartoum’s rejection of foreign interference that prolongs the conflict and worsens the humanitarian crisis.

Idriss stated that his government has submitted reports and documentation to the United Nations containing evidence of UAE involvement in supplying military hardware, logistical support, and networks for transporting equipment and fighters.

He also denied allegations accusing the Sudanese Armed Forces of using chemical weapons, describing them as propaganda promoted by the UAE, before concluding his address with a sharp verbal attack directed at the Emirates.
