TEHRAN, March 10 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on Tuesday that dialogue with the United States is no longer on Iran’s agenda, describing past negotiating experiences as “very bitter” and unlikely to resume anytime soon.
In an interview with the American network PBS, Araghchi pointed out that negotiations are excluded due to the difficult history and lack of trust in the US approach.
He noted that the country awaits the upcoming stances of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, to define the future of Iranian policy.
Araghchi affirmed that Iran will continue its missile launches, asserting Tehran’s readiness to conduct strikes whenever necessary.
He stated that Washington’s initial war plan—aimed at rapid “regime change”—has failed to achieve its objectives.
