WEST BANK, March. 10 (YPA) – Three Palestinian families from Atouf area, southeast of Tubas in the occupied West Bank, dismantled their homes and tents last night and began to leave due to escalating settler attacks and ongoing threats against them.
Moataz Bisharat, the official of Jordan Valley file in Tubas governorate, reported that three families were forced to dismantle their homes and tents in the eastern part of Atouf and leave after a surge in settler attacks in the area and the accompanying repeated threats that compelled the families to leave against their will.
He pointed out that the past period has witnessed the displacement of a number of families from pastoral communities in the vicinity of Tubas and the northern Jordan Valley, amid escalating settler attacks that continue around the clock.
