Mohammed Abdulsalam: ‘Saudi Arabia should have chosen peace over escalation’

SANAA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, said Saudi Arabia should have responded to calls for peace instead of continuing its course of escalation and committing crimes.

In a statement, Abdulsalam clarified that Saudi Arabia insists on misleading the world with false narratives and baseless claims, noting that these narratives are primarily aimed at intimidating and blackmailing the international community and persuading other countries to fight on its behalf.

The head of the negotiating delegation said such claims no longer find a receptive audience even among Saudi Arabia’s closest allies, stressing that those who listen to Riyadh today are listening only to its money.
