France: US and Israeli attacks on Iran violate international law

PARIS, March. 05 (YPA) – French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot affirmed on Wednesday, during a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, that the US-Israeli attacks on Iran violate international law, expressing his hope for a swift return to calm in the region.

The French Foreign Minister discussed with Araqchi developments in the region following the joint attacks by the United States and the Zionist entity on Iran, in addition to some bilateral consular and diplomatic issues.

According to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, Araqchi reviewed the crimes committed by the US-Israeli aggression over the past five days, including the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the deaths of a large number of civilians, including more than 175 students in Minab, in addition to the targeting of hospitals, mosques, and service centers, stressing the responsibility of states and the United Nations to condemn these acts.
