US Senator criticizes settler, occupation terrorism in West Bank and calls on Washington to stop complicity

WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 (YPA) – US Senator Chris Van Hollen criticized on Monday evening the terrorism perpetrated by settlers and the Israeli army against Palestinians in the West Bank.

In a post on the X platform, he called on the Washington administration to “stop being complicit in the injustice of the occupation,” emphasizing that the occupation forces and settlers continue to forcibly displace families from their homes.

He pointed to the killing of nine American citizens by the army and settlers in the West Bank since 2022, saying: “The United States must stop being complicit and demand accountability for those responsible.”

He had accused the US embassy in Israel of covering up information related to the killing of Americans, demanding on October 10th an immediate and transparent investigation.
