Sanaa Foreign Ministry warns Saudi regime of consequences of continuing war on Yemen

SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based Foreign Ministry warned Saudi regime on Tuesday of the consequences of continuing its aggression on Yemen, saying Riyadh’s insistence on pursuing the conflict was leading it into the unknown and increasing its material and legal losses.

In a statement, the ministry said the aggression launched in March 2015 had involved war crimes and genocide, placing Saudi Arabia under human rights and financial liability that would grow with each additional day of war.

The statement added that assurances from some regional powers were merely an attempt to lure Riyadh deeper into the Yemen conflict.

It stressed that the Yemeni people would continue their national struggle and determine the course of their future.
