5 civilians killed, 2 injured by Saudi-backed forces fire in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, March 05 (YPA) – At least five civilians were killed and two others critically injured on Wednesday evening when their vehicle came under heavy fire from members of the Saudi-backed “Emergency” forces in the Al-Khash’a area of Hadramout Governorate, eastern Yemen.

A local source reported that the forces opened fire abruptly on a civilian car of “Corolla” type carrying a family, noting that women were among the victims.

The motives for the attack remain unclear.
