BEIRUT, Feb. 12 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces pushed into two border villages in southern Lebanon early Thursday, demolishing three buildings, amid shooting attacks targeting two other towns, Lebanese media reported.
According to local reports, an Israeli occupation force advanced into the center of Kfar Kila, in the Marjayoun district of the Nabatieh governorate, and blew up a residential building.
the occupation also infiltrated the outskirts of Odaisseh, toward the Hounin Valley area, also in the Marjayoun district, where they demolished two houses.
In a related incident, a Lebanese television channel reported that Israeli drones dropped two explosives near excavators in the town of Aita ash Shaab in the district of Nabatieh.
They also fired bursts of gunfire toward the outskirts of the town of Alma al-Shaab in the Tyre district, southern Lebanon.
These Israeli attacks on Lebanon, concentrated in the south, come amid ongoing daily violations of the “cessation of hostilities” agreement, which came into effect on November 27, 2024, as well as UN Security Council Resolution 1701, adopted in August 2006.
