OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb. 07 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread arrest campaign on Saturday in various areas of the West Bank.
The Hebron governorate witnessed wide-scale incursions at daybreak, notably in Dura and Halhul, as Israeli occupation soldiers set up sudden checkpoints at entry points to the city.
Two residents were arrested after troops raided and searched their homes, ransacking their contents.
Israeli military vehicles also stormed the eastern area of Nablus and the town of Beit Iba, where clashes broke out. Several young men were detained for field interrogation before four of them were arrested and taken to an unknown location.
In Tulkarm, the occupation forces raided the towns of Anabta and Attil early in the morning, arresting three residents after searching their homes.
In the Ramallah governorate, the occupation army carried out incursions into the town of Beit Liqya and the village of Qibya, where one resident was arrested from his home amid the firing of stun grenades and tear gas.
In occupied Quds (Jerusalem), the occupation forces stormed several towns surrounding the city, including Anata, Kafr Aqab and Qalandiya camp.
Witnesses said Zionist soldiers raided and searched a number of homes, checked residents’ IDs, and carried out field arrests, including at least one young man from Qalandiya camp during the early morning hours.
