GAZA, Feb. 07 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 120th day across various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources reported a renewed wave of heavy Israeli artillery attacks targeting the eastern areas of Khan Yunis, confirming that the Israeli army had completely demolished residential blocks in the area.
Israeli naval gunboats opened heavy fire in the waters off the coast of Khan Younis, while other gunboats chased fishing boats amid gunfire and shelling off the coast of Gaza City.
Israeli drones also dropped bombs on citizens’ homes in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
Earlier, the occupation army destroyed a multi-story residential building with missiles in the Aqouba area near Palestine Square in Gaza City, after ordering residents to evacuate.
Israeli military vehicles opened fire northeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The occupation army continue to violate the Gaza ceasefire, in effect since October 7, through ongoing artillery, air, and naval strikes.
Since the ceasefire took effect, 574 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed by Israeli occupation forces.
