Death toll of Israeli aggression on Gaza reaches 70,668 martyrs

GAZA, Dec. 17 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported, on Wednesday, that Gaza hospitals received one new martyr and one injury during the past 24 hours.

In its daily statistical report, the Health Ministry confirmed that the death toll from the Israeli genocide as a result of the ongoing aggression against the Strip has risen to 70,668 martyrs and 171,152 injuries since October 7, 2023.

It revealed that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, has reached 394 martyrs and 1,075 injuries, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 634 martyrs.

The ministry announced that many victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time.

It also declared the death of citizen Mahdi Muhammad Al-Hilu, as a result of his house collapsing on him due to the recent storm. The final death toll from the storms is 12, including 11 due to the collapse of dilapidated buildings and one due to severe cold.
