SANAA, Dec. 06 (YPA) – An official in the Sanaa government responded to statements made by Sultan Al-Aradah, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition, regarding the expulsion of Islah Party from Hadramout and Mahra in eastern Yemen by the UAE-backed forces.
“The Islah Party’s leadership collectively agreed to downplay the importance of what happened in the southern governorates, and called for focusing efforts on the battle to overthrow Sanaa,” Muhammad al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Ansarullah Political Bureau wrote on X.
Al-Bukhaiti sarcastically reported that Al-Aradah urged political forces not to worry about Yemen’s breakup or the reality of the occupation—which he called insignificant details—and to prioritize the military efforts on overthrowing Sanaa.
