Meteorologists warn all citizens of sharp drop in temperatures

SANAA, Dec. 01 (YPA) – Sanaa-based emergency operations launched on Monday an important warning to all citizens issued by National Center for Meteorology of a sharp drop in temperatures and the formation of frost.

The warning was sent by emergency operations in ” SMS ” messages via mobile network.

The center, in its warning bulletin, predicted very cold and cold wave at night and early morning.

The center affirmed that cold wave would hit the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda and the heights of Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, west of Jawf and south of Marib, where temperatures range between 0-4 degrees Celsius and frost is expected to form on parts of them.

It advised farmers to take appropriate measures to protect their crops and crops, and those coming to cold areas to take the necessary precautions to prevent cold wave.
