Hamas: Israeli security barrier will not protect it from repercussions of its crimes

GAZA, May 19 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy’s approval to construct a high-tech security barrier along the eastern border with Jordan, will not protect it from the escalating repercussions of its crimes against the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites, the Islamic Resistance movement “Hamas” said.

Hamas confirmed in a statement on Sunday evening that “the enemy’s settlement plans will only strengthen our people’s resolve to pursue resistance as the surest path to Palestine’s liberation.”

Hamas added that the so-called “security walls” built by the enemy in the past failed to suppress the resistance or contain the Palestinian people’s rage—a fire that will only be extinguished by driving  out the occupier and reclaiming their stolen rights.

The movement stressed g that this failure will also be repeated with the new security wall.

The movement called for a unified, strong, and pressure-filled Arab and Islamic stance on the enemy to thwart its colonial projects and its plans for expansion and control in the region.
