Yemeni Airlines resumes its flights through Sanaa Airport

SANAA, May 17 (YPA) – Sanaa International Airport resumed civilian flights today via Yemenia Airlines after a ten-day hiatus due to an Israeli attack.

The first flight, an Airbus 320, arrived from Queen Alia Airport in Jordan with 138 passengers on board and departed with the same capacity for Amman.

Yahya al-Sayani, Deputy Minister of Transport and Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, emphasized that the resumption of flights reflects Yemen’s resilience, noting that the airport is operating at full capacity and adheres to approved international standards.
