Hamas comments on release crew of Galaxy ship: Today in Sana’a we witness picture of Palestinian victory

SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Hamas movement praised, once again, on Wednesday, the efforts of Yemen and the support of Sana’a forces for Gaza from the first moment of the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa until the last moment.

Hamas representative in Yemen, Moath Abu Shamala, confirmed in a press statement that there is ongoing coordination between Yemen and the Palestinian factions on various issues, and the release of the crew of the Galaxy Leader ship is an example of this coordination.

Abu Shamala said: “Today, in Sana’a, we are witnessing a picture of Palestinian victory in the face of the war of extermination that the Gaza Strip was subjected to.”

“We thank Yemen for its efforts to support the Gaza Strip and the Sultanate of Oman for its mediation in the case of the Galaxy Leader detainees”, he added.

During a press conference for the Yemeni government and representatives of the Palestinian factions regarding the release of the crew of the Galaxy Leader ship through Omani mediation, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Sana’a government for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, confirmed that Yemen’s position is to support the Palestinian people and we will continue with this position.

Previously, the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a announced the release of the crew of the Galaxy Leader ship, which was detained on November 19, 2023, as part of the battle to support Gaza.
