Death toll from ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza rises to 56,531

GAZA, June 30 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression has risen to 56,531, with 133,642 wounded, since the outbreak of the Zionist attacks on October 7, 2023.

In its daily report, the ministry stated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 28 martyrs in the past 24 hours, including three who were pulled from under the rubble, in addition to 223 new injuries due to the Israeli aggression.

The ministry also clarified that the comprehensive statistics for the period extending from March 18, 2025, show 6,203 martyrs and 21,601 wounded. It noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams due to difficult conditions.

It is worth noting that since October 7, 2023, the military operations carried out by the Israeli occupation, with American support, have escalated, resulting in a wave of killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement of the population of Gaza, amidst disregard for international demands and rulings of the International Court of Justice to halt these practices.
