Iraqi resistance forces hit Zionist target with drone strikes

BAGHDAD, Sept. 22 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Iraq confirmed that it targeted a vital target in occupied Palestine with drones this morning, Sunday.

“In continuation of our approach to resisting the occupation, and in support of our people in Gaza, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women and the elderly, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, this morning on Sunday September 22 2024, targeted a vital target in our occupied lands using drones,” the group said in a statement.

According to the statement, the Islamic Resistance confirms its continuation in bombarding the strongholds of the enemies.

The Israeli occupation army claimed to have intercepted a suspicious aerial target heading toward the “Eilat” area from the east without any injuries reported.

Additionally, Israeli media outlets reported that air defenses intercepted two drones launched from Iraq toward “Eilat” in southern occupied Palestine.
