Sanaa government forms committee to face floods damage in Mahaweet 

SANAA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – The Higher Committee for Confronting Emergencies and Flood Damage, formed by the Prime Minister of Sanaa, began on Wednesday providing rescue, shelter, and food services and opening roads in Mahweet province.

The official spokesman for the Government of Change and Construction—Minister of Information, Hashem Sharaf El-Din, explained in a press statement that the committee, headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Muhammad Muftah, held a meeting and proceeded with providing rescue, shelter, and food services and opened roads in the province.

He noted that the committee established an operations room headed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, to follow up, coordinate, and implement relief work.
