Moscow strongly condemns US-British bombing of Yemen

MOSCOW, Aug. 27 (YPA) – Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced on Tuesday that Moscow condemns the American and British strikes on Yemen.

Zakharova said on her Telegram page: “The American air strikes on Yemen are another example of the Anglo-Saxons’ distortion of UN Security Council resolutions.”

The spokeswoman called for preventing escalation in the region.
