Countries warn of western easing of weapons restrictions for Kiev’s attacks on Russi

WORLD, Aug. 27 (YPA) -China, Brazil, South Africa, and Indonesia expressed concerns over Western countries easing restrictions on the use of their weapons by Kiev to launch attacks on Russian territory, the special representative of the Chinese government, Li Hui said.

In a press conference regarding the results of his recent fourth round of visits to Brazil, South Africa, and Indonesia to discuss the Ukrainian crisis, Li Hui stated, “All parties are concerned that the West will continue to ease conditions that will allow Ukraine to attack Russian territory with supplied weapons.”

Li Hui noted that military-industrial complexes (MICs) in some countries are interested in prolonging the Ukrainian crisis, which is why they continue to manipulate the situation (by not ending it and extending its duration).

He added, “All parties believe that the crisis persists not only because of Russia and Ukraine, but also due to some military-industrial complexes behind the crisis that manipulate it, as well as the global military system represented by these military-industrial complexes.”

The Chinese special representative visited Brazil, South Africa, and Indonesia from July 27 to August 8 to discuss the Ukrainian crisis.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Washington to  lift restrictions on the use of American weapons to attack military targets within Russian territory.
