SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected scattered rains accompanied by thunderstorms, might fall on in a number of provinces of Yemen.
According to the weather warning bulletin, the center affirmed that rain would prevail over on the highlands of the provinces of Shabwa, Dhalea, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Rayma, Sanaa, Amran, Mahweet, Hajjah and Saada.
It expended also that the rains would extend westward to include the Tihama Plain and the western coasts of Hajjah, Hodeida and Taiz, Mahra, Hadramout, Abyan, Lahj, Bayda, Marib and Jawf.
The center expected that the coastal areas will have partly cloudy to cloudy weather, with maximum temperatures ranging between 33-37 degrees Celsius, and also very strong winds around the Socotra Archipelago, with a maximum speed of 40 knots.
The Meteorology center called on citizens to take the utmost caution and beware of being in valleys and torrents during rains.
