Blinken arrives in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, April 29 (YPA) – US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Saudi Arabia, his first stop on his Middle East tour, to discuss opportunities for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas as well as delivering aid into Gaza.

He also will be  discussing the normalization process with Gulf states.

Blinken will meet with his counterparts from the Gulf and European countries in Riyadh to discuss plans for the reconstruction of Gaza before heading to Jordan and Israel, according to a US State Department official.

In about two hours, the joint ministerial meeting between the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Secretary of State Blinken will begin.
