In preparation for normalization, joint military exercise includes US, Israel, Arab and Islamic countries

WORLD, April 29 (YPA) – Arab media outlets revealed on Sunday a symbolic participation of Israeli forces in a military exercise under the supervision of the United States, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and other Washington’s allied countries.

The military exercise named Desert Flag 9, is taking place at Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates with the participation of Arab and Islamic countries.

According to the report, the participating countries include Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, the United States, South Korea, France, the United Kingdom and Germany.

The exercise  is a part of arrangements for announcing a new military alliance in the region that includes Arab countries allied with the Israeli occupation entity.

It was mentioned that the exercise comes following the arrival of American military reinforcements to Saudi Arabia, represented by a squadron of F-16 fighter jets, in addition to the arrival of the Chief of the US Air Force and other military officials.

Observers see that the military exercise, the first of its kind following the “Operation Sword of Al-Quds” in October last year, is related to the arrangements led by the United States for the post-war on Gaza, aiming to involve Israel in the Arab and Islamic communities through normalization with Saudi Arabia.
