SANAA, Feb. 05 (YPA) – The Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) in Sanaa referred on Monday four defendants in serious corruption cases to the Anti-Corruption Prosecution.
This came after the SNACC held a meeting to discuss the results of the investigation into a number of serious corruption cases.
The serious corruption cases included harming the interest of the Republic of Yemen by not establishing an economic project with a damage of $20, 466, 153, in addition to the case of seizing public money and official documents of a public company.
The meeting also approved measures to freeze the assets and properties of the accused individuals to recover misappropriated public funds.
Furthermore, one of the suspects is being tracked outside the country in coordination with relevant security agencies and authorities.
