Scattered showers expected to continue in Yemen

SANAA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Saturday the scattered showers to continue in several Yemeni provinces.

In its weather forecast, the center said the rainfall may fall on the areas of the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Dhamar, Mahweet, Sanaa, Amran, the Tihama Plain, and the western coast, in addition to Saada, Jawf, Bayda, Lahj, Abyan and Shabwa, south of Hadramaut, and Socotra.

The center pointed out the possibility of active to strong winds blowing in the western Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab.

It called on citizens in areas where rain expected to fall, to take caution and avoid being in the depths of valleys and water paths.
