Israeli occupation army intensifies its raids in West Bank

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Oct. 31 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army has carried out a number of raids in different areas in the occupied West Bank, Yedioth Ahronoth reported on  Saturday.

The clashes and arrests took place in the town of Rantis, near Ramallah, Beita, Burqa in Nablus, Jericho, and other places.

In turn, the Palestinian news agency “Wafa” said that six Palestinians were wounded by Israeli occupation forces’ fire, and two other citizens were arrested during a Zionist raid on the camps of Aqbat Jabr and Ain al-Sultan in the city of Jericho.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health later announced death of Mohammed Suleiman Awajneh, 17, by Israeli forces in Jericho, bringing the death toll in the West Bank since October 7 to 84.

During their raid into Aqbat Jabr camp, the occupation forces blew up the family home of the prisoner Maher Shalon in Aqbat Jabr refugee camp, south of Jericho, according to local sources.

They said the occupation forces raided Jericho and the camp and cordoned off the area before blowing up the two-story house, causing damage to nearby homes.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested, at dawn on Saturday, a citizen and his son from the city of Al-Bireh.
